Come out to youth group this week! 6-8pm at CCC!
We have a awesome spring break trip planned to the Appalachian region of Kentucky for March 19-23rd. We will be partnering up with Big Creek Missions to minister to the people of that community. There will be plenty of ways to serve from, construction, to food distribution, to evangelism. Please sign up as soon as possible by emailing me at George@mycccyouth.org. The cost will be $200 and we do offer scholarships to cover a portion of that, please do not let the cost be an obstacle, but the ministry does require $50 up front. This is an excellent way to dip your foot into the world of missions, and I highly encourage everyone to pray about using your spring break for the glory of God. Also for highschoolers, Jan 27th brings us a super boss ski retreat to the hills of Perfect North in Laweranceberg, IN! Put on by the good people of Cincinnati Christian University will offer a chance for fun on the slopes (or just relaxing by the fire with hot chocolate) and a time to get alone with God and hear from Brad Tate. $79 to go will include lodging, transportation, lift ticket, ski/snowboard/tube rental, and meals (bring money for two travel meals). Go to http://www.ccuniversity.edu/skiretreat/ for more info and a detailed schedule. We will be leaving the church at 4 pm on Friday the 27th and returning at 1pm on sunday the 29th. You MUST have a medical release on file with CCC to go. Please note: There will be adult leaders that are terrified of the slopes and will be taking it easy in the lodge, so if you do not want to face the elements please no there will be other activites for you to enjoy.
